According to my experience, there must be flexible working schedules made for working remotely to get rid of monotony of sitting in one place and working continuously. There must be engagement in diversified tasks in the online environment to keep the mind entertained. Taking classes remotely can be interesting with availability of opportunities for students to have interactive sessions in video chats/calls/conferences set up by the professor.
